College at a glance

In the year 2020, according to the order of the Chhattisgarh government, two new faculties - Commerce /Computer Science Faculty were started in the college and also the subject of History was added to the Faculty of Arts. For which the following seats have been fixed by the government for admission –

Commerce Faculty - 40 seats

Computer Science - 40 seats

History - 40 seats

After the establishment of the college, the college started teaching learning process with the admission of about 30 to 40 students, but in today's situation about 1500 regular students are studying in this college, which is the highest in Ballarpur district. In this way, this college has become the college with the highest number of students in the district.

College facilitates to study under streams. In arts stream - Hindi, English, Economics, Political Science, Sociology and Geography. under Science Stream - Physics ,Chemistry, Maths, Botany, Zoology,  and . All subjects of commerce stream and for post graduation program - Hindi, Sociology, and Political Science.

For graduate courses subjects are selected as per the group pre-decided by the college. Sufficient facility and play grounds are available in the college for sports. Different events of sports are guided and directed by professors with support of sports officer.

Disciplinary committee of the college is responsible for the proper administration of college and it have all the disciplinary rights.

"Rastriya Seva Yojna" is aunit of college. 100 students get admitted for that. "Rastriya Seva yojna" office Conduct, directs, guide and control the "Rastriya Seva Yojna Shivir" Program."
