Government Rani Durgawati College, Wadrafnagar, was established in 1989. In its initialyears, the college offered only programs under the Faculty of Arts.Subsequently, in 2012, in accordance with the directives issued by theDepartment of Higher Education, Government of Chhattisgarh, the B.Sc. (Mathematics)program was introduced under the Faculty of Science. The sanctioned intakecapacity for this program is 100 students. TheDepartment of Physics is committed to excellence in teaching, research, andinnovation. It aims to provide a strong foundation in fundamental concepts ofphysics while encouraging students to develop analytical, experimental, andproblem-solving skills. The department plays a vital role in nurturingscientific temper and preparing students for academic and professional careers.
