The Department of Botany actively engages students in academic, practical and research-oriented activities to enhance their knowledge of plant sciences and environmental awareness. The department emphasizes both theoretical learning and hands-on experience to develop scientific skills and practical understanding among students.
1. Teaching and Learning Activities
Regular classroom teaching using ICT-enabled methods.
Practical classes in plant anatomy, physiology, taxonomy, ecology, and related areas.
Use of charts, models, microscopes, and herbarium specimens for better understanding.
